Tech Day

Well we thought that we might finally get some rest today but we were wrong.  We ended up having to be at tech rehearsal for 9am, which lasted 8 hours!  Blah!!  But I guess that's what we are here for, to perform.  My day was a little rough due to the 6 hours of sleep in over 72 hours, but it eventually got better.
After rehearsal Jeremy and I walked around and checked out a few souvenier shops and then headed to the grocery store.  Our performance venue is a little over a mile from our flat so after 30 days of this we will definitely have some toned legs. There are many hills included in that mile.  Today after walking halfway to the flat we realized that the only open grocery store was about halfway back the way we just came.  Wasn't fun to walk all that way back but we found out when we came back out the grocery store that it had rained while we were in there.  At least we missed that.  We also saw a beautiful rainbow!

We had tacos for dinner tonight....yeah I know all the way to Scotland to eat Mexican, but it was delicious.  I'm trying to figure out how to post more than one picture at a time...let's see how it goes.  Ok as you can see I figured it out!  The photo below is a picture of a really cool building that is right next to our flat....so this is down the street from where we are staying.

Ahhhh the unpacking is finally done!

Well we finally made it to our flat and it's pretty cool.  It's on the second story with a great view and our bedroom is bigger than our entire apartment!  After we got all settled, we then hiked a mile around town up to the theatre we are performing at to unload the set.  Afterwards we went out to eat at an Italian restaurant.  It was pretty good, but Jeremy and I are both still hungry considering we didn't actually eat a real meal today other than that. Ok, it's now time to get some real sleep.  Good night!

Edinburgh is Beautiful!

Here's a pic from our plane over Edinburgh

We Finally Made It

What a trip!  19 hours of traveling....way too much.  We flew from Los Angeles to London, which was a ten hour flight, and neither Jeremy nor I got much sleep on the plane.  The Heathrow airport in London is ridiculous.  First we had to take a bus to a different terminal which was a 10 minute ride, then we had to go through customs, then back through security again, all the while walking miles through the airport.  Glad that we actually made it to our connecting flight on time.

Ahhhh the packing is finally done!

Or did we forget something?  Oh well, if we forgot something we'll just have to buy it when we get there.  Now it's time to relax and absorb as much California sun as we can before we arrive in the dreary overcast of Scotland.
